What is liquid soil and where is it used?

Liquid soil is a refillable, flowable construction material made from soil materials and binders. It is primarily used in civil engineering, for example in pipeline trenches, cable routes, or urban construction projects. Liquid soil offers high compaction and load-bearing capacity while being environmentally friendly and reversible.

What types of liquid soil compounds does RMS offer?

We offer two main types:
RM Red: our robust standard compound for versatile applications
RM Gold: a specialty compound with particularly good flow propertiesBoth types are available as bulk material, in big bags, or in water-soluble bags.

In which packaging forms can the liquid soil be delivered? Which types of liquid soil compounds does RMS offer?

Our liquid soil compounds are available in three variants:
‍Bulk material for large construction sites with continuous demand
Big Bags for flexible storage and transport
‍Water-soluble bags for clean and fast handling without packaging residue, e.g., in mixing shovels

Which soils are accepted by RMS?

We accept mineral construction waste such as concrete, asphalt, and soils up to the Z.1.1 classification according to the Construction Waste Ordinance. These materials are professionally processed by us and returned to the material recycling cycle.

What does Z.1.1 mean for soils?

Z.1.1 refers to soils with low levels of contaminants that may be reused under certain conditions. They are considered safe for reinstallation and are a key category in construction material recycling.

Does RMS also develop individual liquid soil recipes?

Yes, our laboratory team develops customized recipes that are precisely tailored to the requirements of your project — taking into account load-bearing capacity, flow behavior, environmental factors, and construction specifications.

Which monitoring services does RMS offer?

We offer both internal monitoring and external monitoring — in collaboration with certified laboratory partners. This ensures the highest quality and compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.

Where is RMS active and to where do they deliver?

Our headquarters are in northern Germany, but we deliver nationwide. Depending on the project scope and product type, we can also accommodate international requests. Contact us for a customized transport solution.
