Liquid soil in Hanover: When space is missing

The available space plays an important role in civil engineering work on narrow inner-city streets. The city of Hanover is taking a good approach to renovating a mixed water channel in a small residential street in the Südstadt district. By installing liquid soil in the built-in trenches, the trench widths can be kept so narrow that people and machines remain sufficiently free to move around the construction site.
